Journey Through Resilience Foundation

Structure for the next chapter.

Journey Through Resilience Foundation develops structured resources and programming for the transition from military service to civilian life.

About the Foundation

Experience changes. The work continues.

Journey Through Resilience Foundation exists to provide clear frameworks for a period of life that often arrives without one. Military service establishes routines, objectives, accountability, and a defined mission. Civilian life requires those structures to be deliberately rebuilt.

The Foundation creates practical instruction around that transition. The work is organized around structure, direction, accountability, and purposeful action, not motivational language or abstract promises.

  1. 01Structured instructionClear processes that turn broad transition goals into work that can be completed.
  2. 02Practical resourcesJournals, assessments, media, and educational material designed for direct use.
  3. 03Purposeful transitionA framework for building civilian structure without attempting to recreate military life.
What the work provides

Freedom needs structure.

The environment changes after service. The need for objectives, accountability, progress, and a clear next step does not. JTR builds resources around those constants.

  1. 01Direction

Define what comes next and convert it into specific objectives rather than leaving the next chapter undefined.

  2. 02Accountability

Create visible measures of progress and repeatable practices that keep the work from becoming abstract.

  3. 03Structure

Build routines and frameworks that can operate inside the greater openness of civilian life.

Instruction shaped by lived experience.

Dr. Yvette Harris is the author of Journey Through Resilience: The Next Mission and the voice behind the Foundation's instructional approach. An educator and fellow Air Force veteran, her work centers on giving veterans a practical structure for the transition into civilian life.

The Foundation's material is intentionally direct. It is designed to be used: read the instruction, complete the exercise, document the work, evaluate progress, and continue forward. That approach carries through The Next Mission, the Foundation's media, assessments, and the resources that will continue to be developed around the transition experience.

The work is the individual's. The Foundation provides the structure for doing it.

The Next Mission

The Next Mission is where the work begins.

The Foundation's primary program is a guided 12-month journal built around monthly topics, behavioral exercises, accountability checklists, and a structured reward system.
